An ongoing and realistic evaluation of any organization’s climate is key to maintaining a positive employee relations environment. Conducting periodic Management Audits/Employee Relations Reviews is one way to accomplish this evaluation.
The Management Audit/Employee Relations Review is a method of obtaining important information about the organization directly from the management team. This process ensures that data is obtained from those who affect and are affected by an organization's climate and employee relations practices. Management is never excluded, we involve the team as an integral part of the evaluation process.
The Management Audit/Employee Relations Review consists of a series of one-on-one confidential interviews with members of the management and first line supervisory staff. The questions asked are developed with management input to ensure that key organizational issues are addressed. The questions are then placed into a structured questionnaire format to ensure consistency of approach. Upon completion of the interviews, a formal report is written and presented to management with recommendations to address the issues discovered during the review. This process becomes the basis for ongoing “Action Plans” that address key organizational issues. |
