An individual's behavioral style impacts communications, problem solving, conflict resolution and their management style. It becomes important, therefore, that we have a good understanding of our behavioral style as well as the style of others in order to improve our effectiveness.

The Personal Profile System (DiSC™) is an instrument that quickly and accurately measures your behavioral style. Your style is measured in 4 DiSC™ dimensions as follows: D stands for Dominance. I stands for Influencing. S stands for Steadiness. C stands for Conscientiousness. Each DiSC™ dimension has some specific characteristics and all participants have a bit of each. The profile instrument shows how the 4 styles blend together to give each individual a behavioral pattern or profile. This pattern influences how we communicate; how we manage; how we like to be managed; how we handle change; how we handle conflict; and what sort of team player we might be.

The instrument can be used in a variety of ways:

  • A stand alone program
  • A problem solving team building effort
  • For improving communications
  • As an enhancement/addition to our Positive Employee Relations Practices
The Personal Profile System can be delivered by an Omega Services consultant via our Train The Trainer program.
